To Hannah and The Tea Set Team
Thank you so much for all your hard work in making our wedding day so wonderful. You created an unforgetable day for us and we are so grateful. We could never have imagined such a beautiful day. We hope you are still as busy as ever and we hope that we will be able to have another tea party one day! Thank you so much, Lots of Love from Jude and Simon Whitty.
What can I say? A huge and heartfelt thank you to you and all your fabulous assistants for what was just the best wedding catering ever. The china looked fabulous, it just went so well with everything. The tea was superb, everyone commented on how delicious it was. But most importantly you did an outstanding job of organising the day and keeping things moving. We were just so impressed with everything, both professional and visual. Charlie's parents were also full of praise for you and all your team for the help at the house before and after the wedding.
We had the most perfect wedding day and we could not have done it without you.
The day was elegant but at the same time retro and relaxed. Exactly what we wanted. Well done to you all and thank you for helping us to put it together.
With best wishes
Francesca and Charlie
I was looking for someone to organise the flowers for my wedding in June and after having met Hannah at the Brighton Bridal Boot Fair asked her if it might be possible for The Tea Set to arrange. Hannah was happy to do so and was very positive throughout. We spoke on the phone then met up to discuss the sort of thing I wanted. The flowers on the day were absolutely perfect - very pretty bright country flowers in bouquets, on tables and the ceremony table and I also requested some corsages quite late on. A mixture of jugs/jars/teacups etc were included which gave a lovely vintage feel. Hannah was very flexible and the overall cost seemed reasonable. I was very pleased with the end result and service and will definitely recommend to others!
I met the lovely Hannah through the cult blog rocknrollbride, where I was a guest columnist. As soon as I saw her ice cream trike I just knew I HAD to get my mitts on it for my wedding! On the day as soon as we stepped out of Brighton town hall we were met by an impressive mound of ice cream cones, three flavours of yummy ice cream and that red trike. To say it was a highlight of our day would be an understatement; all our guests are still talking about it now (3 months later!) and the ice creams made a fun addition to our wedding photos. I would recommend Hannah and The Tea Set one hundred percent - thankyou Hannah for making my day so special <3
Hannah provided the flowers, cakes and styling for an Indian/ English wedding I organised over the summer - she tailored the design to the clients' requirements and made sure everything worked together and suited the venue perfectly. The flowers were beautifully arranged and the cakes gorgeous and delicious. Hannah made our job very easy as the wedding looked beautiful and the clients were extremely happy with the result. Thank you! x
Just a note to say how much we appreciated all that you did for Jane’s wedding. From the planning through to the wonderful tea and cakes and the ice cream bike. It was fantastic to see that such a talented catering team also excelled at country dancing.
We had the ice cream bike at our wedding on 20th August and it was amazing! Ice cream was lovely and everyone was really impressed. Well worth doing, we are very happy we substitued our favours in the budget and went for this instead!
Just a short note to say thanks for the ice cream
bike for the wedding yesterday. It was absolutely
brilliant!! Children kept going up to their parents
and saying i've got this ice cream and i didn't have
to pay! the ginger and honeycomb was really
popular. Thanks again for your efforts to make the day
I was involved in organising my friends hen weekend back in April and I hired the Tea Set's beautiful china, bunting and a huge, delicious carrot cake. This was clearly quite a small affair compared to what Hannah is used to organising but she was incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she had lots of helpful advice. I would definitely recommend the Tea Set and will hopefully get the chance to use them again in the future. Lisa x
Hannah and her team did a wonderful job styling our anniversary party, draping masses of bunting all over the marquee and it was hugely admired. The ice cream bike was a massive success, delicious and adding a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere to the lunch. We will certainly be using The Tea Set again., Miranda Worsley

Along with all the above comments, we too can’t recommend Hannah high enough for her help and beautiful cakes for our wedding last September (2010). We already knew we wanted a garden tea party style wedding and with the beautiful bunting and gorgeous cup cakes made by Hannah everything was perfect. Not only did Hannah help and advise us on what she could supply, she very kindly worked round our budget to create the most stunning (and delicious) cup cakes. Thank you so much for all your help and we look forward to using The Tea Set again in the future.
Hannah arranged an amazing afternoon tea to celebrate the launch of Queen Elizabeth with Cunard Line. All the beautiful china was supplied and she even managed to put the Cunard Line logo on the cupcakes......great attention to detail! I was so impressed with the quality and of course all the cakes were delicious. Fantastic value for money and very friendly, I can't wait to find another reason to use this service again and again.
Hannah and her fantastic team helped organise our wedding last June.
Expectations (especially your own), always run high with such important events and so it is not often in life when someone manages to exceed them by a country mile but Hannah really did do the most amazing job.
The old barn looked fantastic with bunting and country flowers. Hannah's crockery looked sublime and her cake tasted the same! All the important things (like loos, tables, chairs and alcohol) turned up on queue, did their respective jobs and were taken away at the end without fuss.
Her efficient, friendly and deceptively laid-back attitude meant we were able to enjoy our day and our friends are still talking about it now!
I was lucky enough to attend a wedding reception that Hannah organised in a beautiful English barn. Walking into the room was like a dream - there was beautiful vintage crockery, decorated pumpkins and bottles and exquisite vintage fabric flags hanging from the ceiling. I really have never seen anything like it. It was stunning.
To compliment the vintage style of decorations was an amazing menu of homemade food. The cakes were out-of-this-world and the main buffet was scrumptious. I couldn't eat enough.
I would like to congratulate Hannah and thank her for an amazing experience. I recommend not only her outstanding skills in decorating, presentation and cooking but also her genuine, friendly and professional service.
All the best! I have no doubthat once the word gets out, you will be a in high demand!
I first met Hannah at a wedding fair a year before my ‘big day’ that we were going to share with our baby’s christening. The wedding fair was an elaborate affair but mainly demonstrated everything I didn’t want to have – the princess effect...however with a huge sigh of relief we found The Tea Set stall and without realising; all my prayers were answered. With a personal passion for the ceremony of afternoon tea and cake - what Hannah could offer my wedding reception was absolutely perfect and as I got to know her more, the more of the wedding-planning I was able to hand over to her as it just seemed that she was able to visualise what I was trying to create and I suppose we just clicked!
Anyway a year later Hannah had worked her socks off to put on the best wedding reception I have ever been to and my parents received numerous thank you cards from our guests all saying the same thing – how wonderful the food and all the little touches were. The barn where the reception was held was decorated beautifully with bunting, hop vines, decorated pumpkins and seasonal flowers – the same as the ones Hannah had made into my bouquet and the button holes. Each guest had a jar of homemade jam or chutney as their name place/favour.
The reception started with afternoon tea and cake served on the gorgeous china sets – we then sat down to a hog roast with a fantastic spread all organised by The Tea Set company. Later in the evening we had real-sausage hotdogs and the ice cream bike with hot chocolate brownies with warmed mulled cider (amazing).
The quality of every aspect was superb and the planning and attention to detail meant that as the big day approached there was not an ounce of panic involved. Our wedding day was so memorable for all the right reasons - Hannah is a wedding planner extraordinaire. I cannot recommend Hannah and The Tea set strongly enough – so much so I’m trying to get involved in this company myself...love it! – if not I can’t wait for another baby so that we can have her organise the next Christening party!
